Bianca Stirling, 35, feeds between 800 and 900 children a week in Fairlands, Johannesburg.
After a difficult upbringing, Bianca decided to help other disadvantaged children by giving them the opportunities she herself wasn’t afforded.
She feeds the children and provides counseling to several, without any government money or support, and relies on her own finances to sustain the scheme.
Bianca also runs a farming scheme in the community, because she believes the hunger gap can be bridged through self-sustainability.
